Big Bass Christmas Bash Demo Review
Big Bass Christmas Bash is a festive fishing slot by Reel Kingdom, released by Pragmatic Play. It keeps the classic Big Bass setup of 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 paylines, but moves it to a snow-capped lake and adds free spins modifiers. Volatility is high, the RTP is 96.71% and the top win is 5,000x the bet. Bets range from $0.10 to $375 per spin.
Ice Fishing on a Snowy Lake
Santa’s snow plough, fishing rods, dragonflies and tackle boxes pay left to right on the 10 lines. The fish are money symbols: on every spin each fish carries a random cash value from 2x up to 5,000x the bet, which can be collected during free spins.
The base game also helps the bonus along. When two Scatters land without a third, a respin can nudge the Scatter reels down one position, or a hook can pull a reel up to reveal another Scatter.
Big Bass Christmas Bash Symbols and Payouts
The table shows what each symbol pays at a $1 bet, so the dollar amounts are also multiples of your bet. Santa’s snow plough is the top symbol and the only one that pays for two of a kind.

Free Spins Modifiers
Three, four or five Scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins. Before the round starts, between zero and five modifiers are picked at random: More Fish adds fish to the reels, More Fisherman adds Wilds, More Dynamites, Hooks and Bazookas raises the chance of those features, Start From Level 2 begins the round on the second level, and +2 Spins adds two free spins at the start and to every retrigger.
The Fisherman Collect Feature
In free spins the fisherman is a Wild on all reels, and every fisherman collects the cash values of all fish on screen. Each fisherman is also counted, and every 4th one retriggers the round with 10 more spins while the collect multiplier rises to 2x, 3x and finally 10x on the fourth level.
Three extra features keep things moving. If fishermen land without fish, dynamite can drop fish onto the reels or a bazooka can change all other symbols. If fish land without a fisherman, a hook can pull a reel up to bring a fisherman in.
Ante Bet and Buy Free Spins
The Ante Bet raises the bet by 50% and puts more Scatters on the reels, so free spins trigger more often. Without the Ante Bet, the free spins can be bought for 100x the bet. The rules list the same 96.71% RTP for normal play, Ante Bet and the buy feature.
Who Should Try Big Bass Christmas Bash
This is the Big Bass formula with more going on. The modifiers make every free spins round a little different, and the 5,000x cap leaves more room than older games in the series. The trade-off is high volatility, so the base game can be quiet between bonuses.
